2411 Scottwood, still standing, was designed in 1900 by architect Downey for Henry J. Eberth. Contractor Ed Vose was hired to build the $4,000 house.
Mr. Eberth, who served as the Superintendent of Toledo Schools between 1905 and 1907, lived here with his wife, Halcyon, and children including his daughter Barbara A. Eberth and sons Kenyon and John. Anna Eberth was a teacher and social worker.
